The Bonnie Thistle

This bonnie thistle has cleverly placed leaves creating the shape of a heart over three levels, although it looks more with the use of both 3mm and 4mm acrylics. The flower itself nestles in the middle on a contrasting pink ripple base, defining its shape and beauty. It highlights the etched green kaleidoscope acrylic under the alternating mirrored and foil purples of the thistle-down. The impressive colours of the upper leaves bring it all together and is truly heart-warming. A stunning piece to celebrate the national flower of Scotland.

Measuring a very sweet 55mm x 53mm

A limited edition of 30 will be set on these early pieces, thereafter there will be colour and design changes. A definite collectors piece.
