Robin red breast.

£35.00 GBP

For centuries, this tiny bird has been the symbol of good luck, happiness, rebirth - and sometimes even as a messenger for lost, loved ones. There are tales stretching back to Norse mythology where the robin is the protector from storms and lightning. And in Celtic folklore the robin is known as the Oak King of Summer but I love seeing these wee charmers best in winter against a snowy backdrop.

In the Scottish Gaelic;
brù-dhearg ('broo YER-ek'), literally 'red breast'.

Measuring 65x60mm and simply stunning.
