Multicoloured toadstool

This multicoloured variant on the traditional cherry-red toadstool was requested by a lady potter up in Aberdeen and was actually the inspiration behind my mushroom designs. Righty, back to me!

It took me a while to fulfil this request because despite having oodles of multicoloured acrylics, I wanted to find just the right one. Every hexagonal foil colour in this acrylic competes for your attention but doesn't overpower the piece as a whole. The creamy white acrylic of the underbelly and stalk has a fine smattering of dust-like glitter. Think mushrooms seen in moonlight.
