Deathcap mushroom

A striking little brooch inspired by the infamous Amanita phalloides, the deathcap mushroom —crafted from layered, shimmery ripple acrylic and what I can only describe as an acrylic made to be this mushroom's cap. This piece captures the eerie elegance of the toadstool: a pale creamy cap with subtle marbling, fading to creamy white gills beneath. The stem is slim and smooth, rooted in a sculpted volva base, with a black and antique silver/pale gold acrylic depicting the soil.

Despite its grim namesake, it wears with a sense of dark whimsy, perfect for lovers of woodland folklore, cottagecore fashion, or the quietly macabre. 👌
